New year, new skin i figured. let's just ignore the fact that it's already 11 days into the new year. At least it's still January :)
I know i haven't updated in awhile and i still keep my blog going because it's the best way to keep in touch with alot of you and the best way for me to know how you're all doing. So on that note: sorry I havent been updating my blog/ reading your posts as often as i should.
New year's resolutions #1 : update & read blogs more often!
this year is already not going quite as I planned but it's all good. I don't know if I'm gonna be able to explain this properly but I'm not discouraged, I know God's taking care of me (even though I do tend to stuff up royally on occasion) and I'm actually kinda looking forward to this year.
2009 looks nothing like I planned or wanted. And that would normally freak me out and if I'm being totally honest it sometimes still does because I am a planner and I like follow through despite my procrastinating tendencies.
Ok enough beating around the bush for now. I think i know what Suf says about writing about sensitive stuff on blogs. it's not that you want to air it for the world to see it but I just have this compulsive urge to archive whatever's going on in my life right now, sensitive or not, so that I remember how I felt and what was going through my head and yea, stuff.
So..
Briefly what this year is gonna look like for me:
- i have one blasted unit to do still this semester before I can officially graduate.
- besides that I plan to work the whole year. I've dropped my CV off at one place but I'll have to chase it up when I get back to Perth. And possibly apply at more places. I need to get my foot in the door and just try and get some experience in.
- doing Joshua Generation for 6 mths at church where a group of selected people meet up with our senior pastor of my church every week where we go indepth into the stuff in the Bible which I'm actually really looking forward to. I know I make it sound like a super exclusive thing (it is mua haha) but it's really just to keep the group small so that it's meaningful and ps david gets to know us. I'll prob blab more coherently about it after it starts in feb.
I think that's it for now. I just figured I really should put in a post, it's really long overdue but sometimes when you put off something like emailing someone, making a post etc. too much has happened that you don't really have anything to say cause it's all already been and gone and there's new stuff.
i'll try and stick to the new year's resolution above but in the mean time here's hoping i catch up with everyone ( except lystra boo!) before i go back after chinese new year.
PS: sorry if this post has been confusing my head has been all over the place!
