So I just got back from a retreat for the youth and young adult leaders that we had over the Australia Day long weekend. It wasnt for very long just overnight. But where we were was beautiful. We stayed in Myelup at the Indian Ocean retreat, the chalet that us girls were in had a beautiful view of the ocean outside us. We didn't do too much but I think my 2 favourite moments from the retreat was the praise & worship with all of us (about 40) cramped into one living room and 2 guitars. Very accoustic, very real. My other favourite moment was early this morning at the beach, just me on my own with my bible in a quiet spot on the beach.
Then a 3 hour drive back - cause i missed the first freeway exit but I found another one(actually Sarah did). All in all a great getaway.
Our young adults now have a blog with daily devotionals up for us. The young adults group is called Revolution but right now our big focus is on Love. Not our own but the one our Creator has for us so hence the blog entries reflect that. It's rLOVEution, it's a Revolution. The blog links is up in my links section. Really good stuff!
