ok so Bernard Blessing, who is from Ghana, has been at my church since saturday night. This guy is amazing! Last night he shared his life story and testimony. He had a horrible childhood and difficult upbringing i don't even want to get into it, but the way God has turned his life around and made good all the bad, reminded me how much He can use any of us. So last night, he prayed for different kinds of healing and then asked people to come up and share. A 6 year old non-verbal autistic boy had come up with his mother, the little boy who couldn't speak before was now able to repeat back his own name and say Jesus. I was tearing up as i watched the smiling boy and his crying mother. Another girl in her teens, also couldn't speak, Bernard prayed for her and she started to speak too. Older people who previously couldn't walk without assistance were walking up and down the stage unassisted. Oh, how big a God it is that we have.
Tonight was another meeting this time his message was more specific - for the Christians. I missed part of what he was saying at the end after the message because i'd gone to the back to help with new christians. But i know that it's going to just keep building and compounding tomorrow night and then on Wednesday night. Can't wait! But for now i'm going to head off to bed with big dreams for the future !
