it's been awhile since i've updated. i've just been so super stressed with all the assignments that have been due. the number of allnighters i've been trying to pull have really been quite unhealthy. but at least all that's done. It's just exams now. pre-exam study break is next week. but i have high hopes for being more organised this time around. one can always hope. or at least that's what the eternal optimist in me says.
my brother's coming down again for a little bit specially for my mom's birthday. 2nd visit he's made here since he's gone into national service. but it will be the weekend just before my exams so i'm gonna be rather tense. oh well.
i've been so bad with birthdays these past couple weeks. i've missed three people's birthday just because i've been so absorbed in uni stuff. i really should keep a better note of birthdays on my calender. i don't really need updates via phone or emails. if it's on a calendar i'll notice it usually. but then i never write down preethi's birthday cos i know it by heart. then i go and forget on the day itself. oh well. we've been friends ages now and this sorta thing isn't the weirdest that either of us have come up with for each other's birthdays. i mean only a lovely person thinks contraband chewing gum (in singapore) consists of a birthday present and i'm the only person who would send a powerpoint instead of a birthday card because i was feeling creative (and it would get there sooner) and the poor girl had to re-edit everything so she could read it properly. oh well. love you preeth.
