sunday morning - woke up late. was supposed to be at church at 7.45 am to help out. got there at umm, 8.10am. i promise, i promise to be on time next week ! Made a decision mid-way through the morning, had been a long time coming. all's good now. looks like things are going to go to better than normal now :)
my mom is such a host. Not in a bad way but she likes to have people over at our place and have dinner; our house is always open to cousins and family alike. Surprisingly this doesn't extend to friends and randoms. how unfortunate. So it was sunday the LAST day of my pathetically short 1 week holiday and i thought i'd have a quiet evening at home, maybe start on some work that i really should've started a week ago. Instead i had 6 cousins over to briefly celebrate my aunts birthday before she and her husband had to go off for a wedding reception, so her two young children are sleeping over till tomorrow morning. Well later this morning anyway. I don't mind much really. It's amusing most of the times and today wasn't an exception.
The evening was rather productive actually. my 4 older cousins and me decided to go look at a very famous indian matchmaking site (that shall remain anonymous ) that our lovely parents repeatedly threaten to put our pictures on. WE don't appreciate the sentiment. So we decided to sneak a peek to make sure that our mostly computer-illiterate parents didn't make good on the repeated promises. They hadn't but we spent a very amused (and surprisingly long) few hours just looking at the site. Further incriminating hints will not be given, but safe to say that we were right about our other suspicions ...
i really should go to bed. i want to wake up early tomorrow morning. Like 6am. Uhh, ya or maybe a little after...
