tuesday was long. woke up early-ish but stilll ended up running late to get to uni for my class even though i drove in. after class, caught a bus into the city to get cassie a birthday present. it started raining on the way back on the bus. never been more grateful to have driven as i was that day though i still got rained on a few times.
came home to a house full of 14 year old boys. their mothers and mine were in the dining room talking and eating. while the boys invaded the tv room, i hid in my bed room. it was still raining outside. nice.
later that evening i met up with friends from church and we went to play dark zone (laser gun/shooting game thing) it would've been a lil more fun if we weren't against 2 other groups who were practically professionals coz they came in regularly. i mean who does that? it's dark zone last i heard it was a fun kiddy thing to do for birthday parties. then again here we were a bunch of 19-23 year olds playing against little kids and adults and getting trashed. however, it was fun, slightly frustrating but still fun.
then we decided to go over to my place (it was the nearest) and watch a movie. steve and i were incharge of getting one from the videostore. it was late and dark and i suppose it wouldn't have been smart for me to drive around deserted suburbs solo. so big tough steve came with me while half of the others got themselves lost on the way to my house.
steve ended up picking white noise. we were so pressed for time. we had 5 minutes till the shop closed and i was on my mobile trying to give directions. and blockbuster was out of all the good movies. typical.
so we eventually got to my place. steve decided he wanted to race me back to my place. i got there first. mua haha. he blamed my directions.
we didn't watch white noise in the end. courtney and eudora thought it looked too scary. so we just hung around and talked and talked. mostly the boys were recommending guys us girls could get married to. i'm getting just a little too tired of this now.
and then that was it. ended the day feeling a lil tired (seriously dark zone should count as a work out) and a little 'meh' bout it all. finished rakesh's letter finally.it ended up being two pages - must remember to post it. it's anzac day tmw hope it's a little more... about things other than potential suitors. and as sad as it sounds i hope i get alot of uni work done too.
