Oh my goodness. what is going on?? it's the second time today that i've found an ugly black cockroach in my bedroom !! is there some sort of cockroach convention being held somewhere in the deep dark recesses of my bedroom ? Yuk !!
anyway... went to Cat & Nick's engagement party tonight. it was good, cat was all smiley and nick was 'suavely' decked out in shirt and pants. Cat's engagement ring is gorgeous! just the right size for her with a pretty heart shape on either side of the prongs/claw/thingy that the diamond sat on. i also saw some people i hadn't seen in ages which i hadn't expected and that's always nice. Met Corrie from high school of all people ! i havn't seen her since we left high school (i think) it was nice to just sit and chat for a little bit.
as always when you go to an engagement/wedding it's always; " so when're you getting married?" there were quite a few couples there tonight and of course the guys kept insisting that the other guy and his gf can get married before them.... but no i'm not going to get married anytime soon not having a boyfriend pretty much guarantees that. Still i like where i'm at, i don't feel a particular urgency for a boyfriend nor do i feel a particular need to run away from guys in general (which i guarantee you has happened before!). so all in all a good place to be. i just turned 21, i'm only just beggining to act and feel like it. nevermind what anyone else says, i'm not 17.
i've already broken my self-imposed curfew so i'm just gonna call it a night and go wash my face and head to bed ! yay ! i'm actually tired for once. although i have this really creepy image of cockroaches sneaking around under the covers...
